Description:

The purpose of this project is to improve the efficiency and timeliness of decontmaination of metal items by using a laser to remove the surface contamination. Use of laser technology will improve the efficiency of decontamination as well as reduce secondary waste in the process. This is hand held laser equipment will be an off the shelf item.
