REQUEST FOR TENDER (RFT) FOR THE PROVISION OF MAIL SERVICES
Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Darwin, Hobart
The Department of Home Affairs handles millions of incoming, outgoing and internal mail items each year, both domestically and internationally. The appointed Contractor will be required to manage these volumes in a timely, secure and confidential manner. Mail Services must be provided accurately and in accordance with this Statement of Requirement.
The Department seeks to establish a contractual arrangement through which a preferred supplier will be identified.
Mail Services requirements are diversified over several Service Categories.
The Department seeks to engage a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor who can provide all of the Service Categories detailed below:
Service Category 1: Onsite Mail Services;
Service Category 2: Offsite Mail Services;
Service Category 3: Offsite Mail Screening;
Service Category 4: Mail Digitisation;
Service Category 5: Payment Validation and Cheque Processing; and
Service Category 6: Mail Data.
There will be an optional Industry Briefing that is being conducted.
The date for the Briefing is TBA.
Conditions for Participation:
a) The Tenderer must either:
i) hold all Valid and Satisfactory Statement(s) of Tax Record by the Closing Time (see for further information); or
ii) have a receipt demonstrating that all Statement(s) of Tax Record has been requested from the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) by the Closing Time, and hold all Valid and Satisfactory Statement(s) of Tax Record no later than 4 Business Days after the Closing Time.
