We will be exploring the theme of “Bringing the Training Force Plan 26 to life: Supporting the continuous professional development of our trainers”. Navy Training Force is on a journey of transformation, and has recently launched the Training Force Plan 26. This plan sets out the major reforms that Navy Training Force must deliver over the next five years. The conference theme supports the RAN Concept of Training 2030 key concepts: Deliver, Content, Mariners, Enable.
The focus of this two-day event is to bring together training practitioners and thought leaders from Navy, industry, and academic organisations. All three are integral to the successful implementation of the Training Force Plan 26.
This event will feature keynote addresses from prominent thought leaders, as well as case study briefings, Army and Air Force updates, and forward-looking short, sharp sessions. There will also be a hands-on professional development activity with a community-engagement focus.
The NIA event will be hybrid, hosted both online and at the Deakin University Downtown venue in Collins Street, Melbourne 31 May - 01 June 2022.
Registration instructions for the NIA event can be found in the NIA 2022 Flyer attached to this notice.
