Provision of Services for Satellite Laser Ranging Operations at Mt Stromlo
Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Darwin, Hobart
The Contractor will operate the SLR Facility to track and range geodetic satellites including:
• data acquisition, post-processing, calibration, data distribution and quality control;
• data storage, backup and risk management;
• Facility maintenance;
• Support for External Components; and
• the addition of new or upgraded hardware and/or software.
The Services do not include the maintenance and enhancement of the Facility’s technology, which is the subject of a separate RFT. Suitably experienced tenderers may submit separate tenders for both tender opportunities.
Geoscience Australia’s requirements are set out in more detail in the Draft Contract for the Provision of Services for Satellite Laser Ranging Operations at Mt Stromloreferred to at Schedule 1.
Any contract entered into as a result of this RFT will be based on this Draft Contract. However, Geoscience Australia may vary the terms and conditions (see clause 26).
The anticipated timeframe for the contract is three years with two options to extend for a period of 12 months each.

3 - The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender are not insolvent, bankrupt, in liquidation, or under administration or receivership.
