Description:

Quote required for the provision of a Personal Belt Harness (PBH) and Lead Climbing Harness (LCH).

The Personal Belt Harness (PBH) system will form part of the Special Operations Command (SOCOMD) assault order. It will be issued for training and operational use across the majority of common SOCOMD mission profiles, including foot, vehicle, parachuting, rappelling, climbing, amphibious, surface and sub-surface swimming, rappelling and suspended extraction.

The requirement for a Lead Climbing Harness (LCH) will be suitable for multi-pitch traditional and aid ascents that are appropriate for combat and contingency operations in Mountaineering and Cold Weather Operations (MACWO).

Conditions for Participation:

1. Signed RFQ AC565
2. Six month RFQ Validity Period (refer clause 1.2)
3. Essential elements stipulated in Defence Purchase Description (DPD), including provision of Objective Quality Evidence that demonstrates compliance.
