RFT Description: Cahill’s Crossing Viewing Area Upgrade, Kakadu National Park - Construction.
The upgrade works to the viewing platform adjacent to Cahill's Crossing is to enable the large numbers of visitors to view crocodiles in their natural habitat from the safety of a larger viewing platform, noting that the current viewing platform is of insufficient size to cater for the number of visitors, which results in large numbers of visitors viewing the crocodile activity from the road.
The Tenderer exists as a legal entity at the Closing Time (see paragraph 8.3).
The Tenderer must have attended the Industry Briefing. The Director will confirm from its records as to whether the Tenderer attended the industry briefing.
A deed or contract for the Supplies substantially in the form of the Draft Agreement is expected to commence on 16 August 2021 and conclude within the timeframe nominated by the successful tenderer in accordance with their construction program. This date is to be no later 10 December 2021. If the date exceeds this and the wet season commences it will be at the expense of the contractor to stabilise and remobilise post wet season.
