Airborne Gravity Gradiometry Survey, Canobie, Queensland, 2021
Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Darwin, Hobart
Geoscience Australia (GA) seeks quotations from geophysical service suppliers who are willing and capable of providing, acquiring and processing airborne gravity gradiometry data across portions of the Mount Isa Basin north of Cloncurry. The Canobie airborne gravity (CAG) is an initiative of the Queensland Government’s New Economy Minerals Initiative (NEMI), aimed at attracting explorers into high-potential, shallow-covered greenfield terranes within the Mount Isa Basin.
The survey area is shown in Figure 1. It is expected that approximately 7,500 km2 of area will be systematically acquired and processed to safety and technical standards in line with Geoscience Australia’s requirements.
No Mandatory Conditions for Participation are specified.
