Environmental Monitoring Services
Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Darwin, Hobart
The Services required will include logistics and project management; undertaking of sampling of groundwater, surface water, soil and/or sediment, and other media as required on a site-by-site basis (up to 36 airport locations); managing and interpreting data; reporting; assessing integrity of monitoring wells and other infrastructure and establishing new or repairing/decommissioning existing wells as required; assessing the validity of current monitoring plans in achieving the desired purpose of the monitoring; and providing high level recommendations for rectification measures where monitoring has shown that pollution and resultant contamination is occuring.
(a)The Tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the Tenderer’s Tender must not be named as not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth).
(b)The Tenderer and any subcontractors in the Tenderer’s Tender must not be named on the Consolidated List, being the list of persons and entities who are subject to targeted financial sanctions or travel bans under Australian sanction laws, as maintained by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade at http://dfat.gov.au/international-relations/security/sanctions/Pages/consolidated-list.aspx
(c)Tenderer and any subcontractors in the Tenderer’s Tender has not had any adverse court, tribunal, industrial relations commission or Fair Work Australia finding, order or penalty awarded against it in the last two years.
Agreement terms is five years with two Option Periods of one year each.
Sampling at each location will initially be required to be undertaken by the Contractor(s) in the first year of the Agreement. The Contractor(s) will then be required to assess the requirement and frequencies for each location based on Airports’ and other obligations. Program design may take into consideration such aspects as seasonal factors to undertake trend analysis.
