Independent Verification and Validation Agent
Geoscience Australia requires a suitably skilled and experienced Independent Verification and Validation agent (Supplier) to:
1.Provide assurance to Geoscience Australia that the technical solution provided by the Prime Contractor (Prime Contractor) is fit-for-purpose and safe, when used in accordance with the SBAS Operational Concept Description (OCD).
2.In support of these activities, the Supplier will review artefacts provided by the Prime Contractor for A19/623 through the system safety program.
3.Provide specialist advice as requested on the following topics:
a.Systems engineering and its interaction with safety certification and system safety programs;
b.The effectiveness of hardware, software, and algorithms in delivering operational safety outcomes; and
c.The application of Global Navigation Satellite System technology in the transport sector.

No Mandatory Conditions for Participation are specified.
Contract to commence January 2021, and undertaken over a 4 year period.
