Request for tender for the Kakadu National Park East Alligator Ranger Station compound construction
The existing East Alligator Ranger Station (EARS) support facilities were originally constructed in the late 1980’s and has undergone various alterations and works in the past. More recently, in 2019, bush fires affected the area and the site suffered various degrees of fire damage to both buildings and equipment.
The works combine the replacement and repair of fire damaged infrastructure, general upgrading of facilities to meet current building standards, alterations to better reflect current operational requirements and general overall reduction, general elimination and/or mitigation of OH&S issues identified.
The Tenderer exists as a legal entity at the Closing Time (see paragraph 8.3).
(a) A deed or contract for the Supplies substantially in the form of the Draft Agreement is expected to commence on 28 April 2022 and conclude on 28 August 2023 with an option for the Director to extend for a further 12 months.
