Request for Information for Hire of Specialist Plant and Miscellaneous Equipment (SPAME)
Engineering and Specialist Equipment Hire
The Commonwealth is considering options for the establishment of an arrangement for the hire of a range of Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) Specialist Plant and Miscellaneous Equipment (SPAME) Hire to supplement the ADF's current in-service equipment. These include:
a. Earth Moving Equipment (C Vehicles);
b. Material Handling Equipment (D Vehicles); and
c. Miscellaneous Equipment, such as generators, electrical distribution systems, trailer mounted lighting, refrigeration equipment, bulk liquids distribution (fuel and water), and construction equipment.
The objective of this RFI is to obtain information from industry on current commercially available SPAME to inform market research activities and support future short and long-term hire considerations.
