The new CMP arrangement is expected to be operational by late 2020, replacing the current Cloud Services Panel (CSP), which is scheduled to expire in March 2021.  Approved sellers on the current CSP must respond to this RFT to be considered for the new arrangement.

In establishing the new CMP, DTA aims to establish a procurement arrangement that is user friendly, efficient, and responsive to enable the Australian Government’s investment in and commitment to Cloud computing solutions.

The new CMP will be established as a whole-of-government cooperative procurement arrangement for Cloud Offerings to Australian government agencies– across two areas:

-         Under Cloud Services, sellers can offer any ICT functionality as a cloud service. Sellers offering Cloud Services should note the new CMP will be guided by the International Standard ISO/IEC17788 on Cloud Computing (ISO17788) for describing and cataloguing Cloud Services.

-         Under Cloud Consulting, sellers can offer to provide cloud computing-based professional services, described through a rate-card of subject matter experts. Sellers offering these services will describe their expertise in context of the Skills For the Information Age (SFIA) framework and responsibility levels.

Both Cloud Services and Cloud Consulting offered on the new CMP should comply with the requirements outlined in Part G – Statement of Requirements, of this RFT.

Tenderers should note the DTA will be using a Digital Tendering Platform (DTP) for the submission of all Responses for this RFT. After accessing the RFT documentation via AusTender, Tenderers will be required to register, develop and submit their responses via the DTP – following instructions within the RFT. Only responses submitted via the DTP will be considered for evaluation and selection.

Detailed information on the usage of DTP and the lodgement of Tenders is available at Part H of the RFT. Additional support and advice are available by contacting the Tender Officer.
