Navy Platforms and Systems Training Services Contract
This Request for Tender is seeking responses from industry for the provision of Navy Platform and Systems Training for the Royal Australian Navy (RAN).The Services are to assist the RAN deliver a suitably trained and qualified workforce to operate and maintain Navy Platforms and Systems, where Platforms and Systems means the:
a.Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD) ships;
b.Hobart Class Guided Missile Destroyers (DDG);
c.Mine Hunter Coastal (MHC) vessels;
d.Auxiliary Oiler Replenishment (AOR) ships; and
e.associated systems and equipment on those ships (including shared systems and equipment across other Navy platforms).
Parts 1-3 of this RFT (Conditions of Tender, draft Conditions of Contract and draft Statement of Work) are attached on AusTender (under 'ATM documents’).
Part 4 of this RFT (Supporting Data) is confidential and not attached. Due to the confidential nature of the Supporting Data, a prospective tenderer will only be provided with access to the Supporting Data if it has submitted to the Contact Officer via email at least ten Working Days before the Closing Time a Deed of Confidentiality in the form set out in Appendix 1 to the Conditions of Tender, duly executed by the tenderer. Prospective tenderers who do not submit this executed Deed of Confidentiality as required will not be permitted to receive access to the Supporting Data.
An industry briefing will be conducted at Navy Training Systems Centre (NTSC) – Randwick, NSW commencing at 2pm on 29 November 2021.
Representatives of prospective tenderers at the briefing will be limited to two personnel. Nominations to attend the briefing are to be forwarded in writing to the Contact Officer by 24 November 2021.
Any questions relating to this tender are to be forwarded via email to the Contact Officer nominated below. The cut-off date for questions pertaining to this tender is five (5) working days before the tender close time.
Please note that questions will not be responded to during Defence's annual close down period from 23 December 2021 to 5 January 2022.
