The successful tenderer is required to undertake assessments of claims referred to them by the Department of Home Affairs or the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and provide written reports stating a professional opinion as to whether or not 'relevant domestic violence' or 'relevant family violence' as defined in paragraph 1.21 of the Migration Regulations 1994 (or other paragraphs as in force at the time the visa application was made) has occurred. In conducting these assessments the contractor may be required to: 1) Contact the applicant and conduct interviews, including through the use of an interpreter and in regional and remote locations 2) Seek third party verification of opinions by parties supporting the Applicant 3) Provide an opportunity to comment on unsuccessful outcomes for Applicants through a natural justice process 4) Provide supplementary reporting as required 5) Respond to any external body complaints or enquiries in relation to administration or service delivery (ie Ombudsman) 6) Provide services in accordance with relevant legislation 7) Attend meetings as necessary

The Customer will exclude from consideration any Response that does not meet the following Mandatory Conditions for Participation: a) The Tenderer, its Personnel, and any subcontractors proposed in its Tender must not be listed as terrorists under section 15 of the Charter of the United Nations Act 1945 (Cth); b) The Tenderer, its Personnel and any subcontractor proposed in its Tender must not be named in the consolidated list referred to in Regulation 40 of the Charter of the United Nations (Dealing with Assets) Regulations 2008 (Cth); c) The Tenderer (and any subcontractor proposed in its Tender) does not, and will not, in the provision of the Services, engage Illegal Workers.
