The Australian Government, as represented by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications (Department), is seeking to procure public transport services (bus and ferry) for the Cocos (Keeling) Islands.
The community is dependent on the operation of a ferry to transfer people between the West, Home and Direction Islands. The bus services provide transport on West Island including to and from the ferry terminal.
