Description:

The Australian Government helps people to start and run small businesses to create jobs, grow the economy and improve labour market outcomes. Self employment programs give people the opportunity to create their own work and earn an income through starting a new business or refocusing an existing micro-business.

The Self-Employment Assistance and Entrepreneurship Facilitator programs will give participants access to a variety of services and the flexibility to choose the services most relevant to their individual circumstances.

The Self-Employment Services 2022–27 Consultation Paper provides individuals and organisations interested in delivering this support with the opportunity to provide feedback to shape the future of these services. The consultation process will inform program settings before Requests for Tender are released for each of these programs.
