Invitation to Register Interest – Estate and Infrastructure Group ACT Office Pilot (EIG AOP)

The services include design and construction related services in respect of the following works:
- completion of the fitout design, including but not limited to the following elements, architectural, electrical, mechanical, fire, communications, building management and control systems (BMCS), hydraulics, dry fire, wet fire, physical and electronic security, environmentally sustainable design (ESD), acoustics, audio visual, fire safety, quantity surveying, National Construction Code (NCC) / Building Code of Australia (BCA) and Disability and Discrimination ACT (DDA) through to 100% For Construction Design;
- demolition of the existing fitout;
- construction of the new fitout, and associated elements; and
- commissioning, completion, and handover of the works;
to meet Estate and Infrastructure Group’s operational and support capabilities.
Building Code 2016
The Building Code 2016 applies. If the Building Code 2016 applies then by lodging a Registration of Interest, the Applicant will become subject to the Building Code 2016.

WHS Accreditation Scheme
The WHS Accreditation Scheme pursuant to the Building and Construction Industry (Improving Productivity) Act 2016 (Cth) applies. Further information regarding the WHS Accreditation Scheme is provided in the Invitation to Register Interest.
Indigenous Procurement Policy

Joint Bids

PWC Act
The works described in the Invitation to Register Interest are a "public work" and therefore subject to section 18 of the Public Works Committee Act 1969 (Cth).

The RFT award date for the contract is anticipated to be in or about October 2021.
Construction completion is anticipated to be in or around October 2022.
Defects Liability Period will run for 12 months post completion.
