The department is looking for a company with a demonstrated ability to produce, distribute and promote podcasts on behalf of other brands.

The supplier will possess the necessary facilities and capabilities to produce high-quality content on behalf of the department. The supplier will have the ability to record podcast content both in studio and on location. The supplier will maintain a digital platform or network for podcast distribution.

The supplier will be willing to work with internal staff to produce the content, but have a clear and unique creative vision for the podcast, including story concepts, and episode and season structure. The supplier will also have a clear promotion strategy for the podcast series, working collaboratively with the department and utilising a range of amplification channels and methods.

Responses should be no longer than 20 pages.

  1. The respondent and any subcontractors proposed in the respondent’s response to this EOI must not be named as not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth).
  2. The respondent confirms that in dealing with its employees and independent contractors, the respondent has due regard to Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, will comply with Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, including the Workplace Relations Act 1996 (Cth) and obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth) and relevant work health and safety laws.
  3. The respondent and any subcontractors proposed in the response are not insolvent, bankrupt, in liquidation, or under administration or receivership.

The Department expects an initial contract term of 12 months. It is envisaged that a mutually agreed extension option would be included in the contract.
