The Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources requires event management services for the project management and delivery of a physical presentation dinner event (the Event) and live streaming of this event, for the Prime Minister’s Prizes for Science.

The Event is by invitation only in the Great Hall of Parliament House, Canberra, annually in October. 

In addition to the delivery of the Event, the successful supplier will also be required to attend and present to prize recipients at a briefing session one-day prior to the Event, produce and direct a rehearsal of the Event proceedings with recipients, emcee, ministerial advisers, photographers and Department representatives on the day of the Event, and support the delivery of an embargoed media call event on the day of the Event.

Key deliverables are detailed in the Request for Tender, and include (but are not limited to) project management, event management, liaison with departmental personnel, run sheet, theming, production (audio visual, light, sound) services, room set up, room pack down, post event reporting.

To deliver this event to the highest standard tenderers will have a significant level of event management expertise and demonstrated experience in high profile, national events.

1. The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender must not be named as not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth).
2.  The tenderer confirms that in dealing with its employees and independent contractors, the tenderer has due regard to Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, comply with Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, including the obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth) and relevant work health and safety laws.
3.  The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender are not insolvent, bankrupt, in liquidation, or under administration or receivership.
