Environmental Assessment Package for the Airspace and Flight Path Design for Western Syd International Airport
The Department will approach the market to engage one or more qualified and experienced Service Providers to deliver any or all Streams of the Environmental Assessment Package for the Airspace and Flight Path Design for the Airport. The Environmental Assessment Package for the Airspace and Flight Path Design for the Airport comprises of three interdependent Streams: · Stream 1 - Environmental Assessment documentation Undertake necessary studies and prepare draft and finalised environmental assessment documentation, other associated materials and services as approved by the Department (including oversight of any public consultation and feedback process), in accord with all requirements and final advice from the Minister for Agriculture, Water and Environment under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (the EPBC Act) · Stream 2 - Stakeholder Consultation and Communications Package Develop a detailed Stakeholder Consultation and Communications Plan incorporating best practice methods for communicating complex technical information. Effectively deliver and execute the consultation and communication activities established under the Stakeholder Consultation and Communications Plan · Stream 3 - Online Interactive Flight Path and Aircraft Noise Communications Tool Develop, host and maintain an Online Interactive Flight Path and Aircraft Noise Communications Tool The purpose of these services is to provide the Department with a comprehensive approach to develop and deliver the requisite environment impact assessment services, during the next phase of the Airport’s development.
