Defence Infrastructure Panel - 2022- 2027 - Planned Procurement Notice (Updated July 2021)
This is a pre-release notice to provide only advance notice that the tendering of the service categories (proposed at the date of this notice) under the Defence Infrastructure Panel - 2022 - 2027 (Panel) is anticipated to commence in July 2021.
This notice supersedes that notice issued on the 18 June 2021 on AusTender at https://www.tenders.gov.au/Atm/Show/1a6e8fe0-b62d-460e-9875-af88fb3d4b8b.
The Panel will replace the existing Defence Infrastructure Panel which is due to expire in January 2022.
Potential tenderers should regularly check AusTender for updates, rather than approaching Defence personnel. All official information about the proposed tender will be published on AusTender in accordance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules – potential tenderers should not rely on information from other sources.
All questions regarding the Panel must be directed in writing to the Contact Officer email address.
The Commonwealth is intending to release the Panel service categories in a tranched approach, with each service category in each tranche being the subject of a separate open approach to market (ATM), through AusTender.
At the date of this notice, it is proposed that the Commonwealth will publish the ATMs for each Panel service category, on AusTender, as follows:
Tranche 1 (to be released week beginning 26 July 2021):
• Project Management and Contract Administration (PMCA) Services; and
• Capital Facilities and Infrastructure Specialist Services (CFISS).
Tranche 2 (to be released week beginning 23 August 2021):
• Airfield Pavements Services;
• Infrastructure Engineering Assessments Services; and
• Property Acquisition and Disposal Services.
Tranche 3 (to be released week beginning 20 September 2021):
• Estate Strategic Planning Services;
• Urban, Architectural and Commercial Interior Design Services; and
• Aeronautical Ground Lighting.
Any timeframes in this updated notice are indicative and subject to change.
