The Sydney Harbour Federation Trust (Harbour Trust) is requesting tenders from suitably qualified Respondents for the provision of wildlife research and management services for North Head Sanctuary, Manly. The wildlife management and research services will be provided in accordance with the Statement of Requirement issued as part of this Request for Tender.

Mandatory RFT Briefing:

Respondents are to register with the Contact Officer no later 5 pm Monday 5 June 2023 with the contact details of a maximum of 2 attendees per Respondent.

  • The Respondent is a legal entity at the Closing Time.
  • For Trusts only: if the Respondent is responding to this RFT as a trust, please attach a copy of any relevant trust deed(s) and / or documents that authorise the Respondent’s Authorised Contact to represent and legally bind the Respondent.
  • The Respondent accepts the RFT Conditions (Part A). 
  • The Respondent has completed each Part C Response Schedule, in English.  
  • The Respondent agrees, and requires any subcontractors to agree, to abide by the Harbour Trust Supplier Code of Conduct.
  • The Respondent has declared any actual, perceived or potential conflict of interest to the Harbour Trust.
  • Confirmation that neither the Respondent organisation, nor any of its directors, have had a judicial decision against them relating to employee entitlements or workplace health and safety.
  • Confirmation that neither the Respondent organisation, nor any of its directors, have engaged in practices that have been found to be dishonest, unethical or unsafe. 
  • If the Respondent is a ‘relevant employer’ under the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012, the Respondent agrees to provide a current letter of compliance with that Act.
  • Public liability insurance, with cover for $20 million per occurrence, or confirmation this level of insurance will be taken out if successful.
  • Professional indemnity insurance, with cover for $10 million, or confirmation this level of insurance will be taken out if successful.
  • Workers compensation insurance.  
  • The Respondent has attended the mandatory tender briefing.
  • The Respondent has downloaded each addenda.

Contract commencement 1 October 2023 with an initial term of three years plus up to two, one-year extension options (at the Harbour Trust’s discretion). The contract will take the form of the draft Contract issued as part of this Request for Tender
