The Lead Customer is proposing to establish a Standing Offer Arrangement for the provision of customs brokerage services. The AAD requires the services of a suitably qualified and experienced Customs Broker who holds a customs broker's licence granted in accordance with the Customs Act 1901 (the Act) that is authorised and empowered to act as an agent on behalf of the AAD for the import and export of goods into and out of Australia.
Customs Brokerage services required include (but are not limited to) preparation of documents and/or electronic submissions, the calculation and payment of any taxes, duties and excises, and facilitating communication between government authorities and the AAD.
The supply must be provided in accordance with the Statement of Requirement (SoR) in the ATM and subject to the terms and conditions set out in, or referred to, in the Statement of Requirement.
It is anticipated that the deed of standing offer will take effect from Februrary / March 2023
