Provision of Targeted External Scientific Reviewer Services

The APVMA is seeking scientific service providers for the assessment of agricultural chemicals and veterinary medicines across the following targeted Disciplines and Sub-Disciplines:
a) Chemistry
i Veterinary biological
b) Efficacy and Target Species Safety
i Agricultural
ii Veterinary – Pharmaceutical
iii Veterinary - Biological
c) Human Health and Safety
i Agricultural and Veterinary
Tenderers should note that the Chemistry and Human Health and Safety Disciplines have only a single Sub-Discipline. Tenderers are expected to be able to assess any agvet application for the Human Health and Safety Discipline.
The APVMA proposes to use this procurement process to add providers in the targeted disciplines of Chemistry (Veterinary Biological only), Efficacy and Target Species Safety, and Human Health and Safety to an already established panel of providers of external scientific reviewer (ESR) services under previous APVMA RFT1819-12.
Without limiting any of its rights in this RFT, the APVMA will exclude from the evaluation process any:
a) Tender that proposes any Personnel to provide the Services that do not have a science degree or higher qualification from an Australian tertiary institution or a comparable overseas qualification in a relevant scientific field (e.g. agricultural science, animal science, biological science, chemistry, pharmacy, immunology, veterinary science, microbiology).
