The Australian Antarctic Division (AAD) has an estimated annual requirement for the movement of approximately 8,000 cubic metres of general cargo, shipping containers and other heavy plant and equipment (break bulk cargo), within Tasmania and interstate, primarily between the Hobart wharf and AAD Head Office in Kingston, Tasmania.
The AAD is seeking to establish a panel of Suppliers to provide the Services.
More detail can be found in the Statement of Requirement.
The supply must be provided in accordance with the Statement of Requirement (SoR) in the ATM and subject to the terms and conditions set out in, or referred to, in ATM 18/311 Cartage Services. Neither the lowest nor any ATM Response may necessarily be accepted. The AAD reserves the right to abandon or terminate any aspect of the ATM at any stage if it is not in the public interest to proceed. Late submissions will not be accepted and submissions forwarded by facsimile or email will not be accepted. Potential Suppliers should note that the Draft Services Agreement is indicative of standard terms and conditions that will form the basis of a formal agreement only and any contractual arrangement with a preferred Supplier will be subject to change. The AAD reserves the right to consider alternative terms and conditions of contract.
It is anticipated that the Deed of Standing Offer will take effect from 24 September 2019
