The Commonwealth seeks to form a panel of members capable of supplying their own aeroplanes and/or source aeroplanes of varying sizes and capabilities in order to facilitate movements of passengers, their baggage and cargo by air, as well as performing various air-borne tasks as required.
The Air Panel is used to transport personnel, their baggage and cargo and perform other Governmental aerial tasks on an ad-hoc basis - such as Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) and Defence Aid to the Civil Community (DACC). Movements may be domestic and/or international and may involve the movement of specialist cargo such as oversize goods and equipment.
The tender documentation for the Middle East Region Air Sustainment Service (MASS) will be released as a Tasking Statement to the new Panel members immediately the Panel is constituted.
