Hovercraft Lease 2022
You are invited to submit a tender in response to RFT 17999 for the leasing of a hovercraft. Including ongoing maintenance, spare parts, ongoing support and training to be provided at Port Wakefield (PW), South Australia. The initial leasing term is 3 years followed up by a 2 year extension option and another 5 one year extension options (maximum 10 year lease if all extension options are exercised).
The hovercraft is to provide capability to retrieve fired or deployed projectiles and test items within the designated Defence Prohibited Area (DPA) at PW. Additional the Defence requires a capability to patrol the DPA to intercept any non-Defence persons that have entered the DPA whilst a Defence Practice is scheduled to occur e.g. fishers, crabbers or boats.
