All submissions that meet the Mandatory Conditions for Participation will be evaluated against the following Evaluation Criteria: Experience with similar contracts in terms of size, type of institution and services delivered. Proven experience delivering similar visitor service-based roles for a minimum of 5 years. Evidence that visitor service roles are the core service of the tenderer and not an ancillary function to other services such as security services or housekeeping.

The Australian National Maritime Museum is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from the market for the provision of visitor services staff (Customer Service).

This EOI is open to the market and will be part of a two-stage approach.

The Museum is looking to engage a provider to provide staff for the museums Commercial division.

 

The Museum’s visitor services staff play a key public-facing role in delivering excellent customer services to the Museum’s local, national and international visitors. Day-to-day visitor service duties including ticket sales, retail sales, visitor direction and the provision of information regarding events and the activities at the museum (which may be face to face, by phone or email). Other duties may include cloakroom management, fulfilment of online orders, assisting with event set up and pack down (including the movement of furniture and basic audio-visual setup), event foyer hosting and delegate/attendee registration, and other visitor services as required.

 

The Museum is looking to engage a provider for two (2) years plus two one (1) year optional terms (at the museums discretion), starting at a date agreed between the parties.

Stage 1: This ATM forms Stage 1 of this process. All EOI’s received will be assessed against the Mandatory Conditions for Participation and a number of applicants will be shortlisted.

 

Stage 2: Request for Tender. All shortlisted tenderers will be invited to provide a response to a Request for Tender.

 

All tender submissions must meet the Mandatory Conditions for Participation to proceed to evaluation.

Ability to demonstrate financial stability to the Museum’s satisfaction for the past three years.

 

Demonstrated capacity and capability to deliver as a minimum the Scope of Works.

 

Ability to provide positive references from at least three existing clients the tenderer provides similar services to.

 

The tenderer has established a WHS Management System in accordance with the requirements of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 as amended.

 

Compliance with this Invitation for Expressions of Interest.
