Edinburgh Defence Precinct Mid Term Refresh and Relocation of Units from Elizabeth North Training Depot Program of Works

The Contractor's Activities required to plan, design, construct, commission, complete and hand over the Works in accordance with the Planning Phase Design Documentation and the Delivery Phase Design Documentation including but not limited to:
- all management functions and related services required to comply with the proposed Contract and deliver and complete the Works in accordance with the requirements of the proposed Contract;
- Site wide Electrical Master Plan (EMP) and Base Engineering Assessment Program (BEAP) revalidation;
- non-destructive Site investigations for both the EMP and BEAP revalidation;
- above ground and inground design for Fire Fighting Water, Sewer System and Stormwater Systems to meet capacity demands and compliance items identified in the BEAP revalidation;
- above ground and inground design for Electrical Services, predominately high voltage to meet both the existing capacity demands, compliance items and future capacity requirements identified in the EMP;
- planning and design for architectural, structural, civil, landscaping and building services for two new facilities for the Army Reserve and Army Cadets at RAAF Base Edinburgh;
- supplying all materials, equipment and performing the Contractor's Activities required to deliver and complete the Site Fire Fighting Water, Sewer System and Stormwater System; supplying all materials, equipment and performing the Contractor's Activities required to deliver and complete the Site Electrical Services; and
- supplying all materials, equipment and performing the Contractor's Activities required to deliver and complete two new facilities for the Amy Reserves and Cadets.
The Contractor's Activities are to be delivered to meet RAAF Base Edinburgh, DST Edinburgh, Edinburgh Parks, St Kilda Transmission Station, Army Reserves and Cadets operational and support capabilities for the Program of Works.

Tenderers are required to download, complete, duly execute and return the Disclaimer and Confidentiality Agreement by email to the Contact Officer. Following which (within a few days) Tenderers will recieve by email a passcode providing access to the Tender and Information Documents within the ATM EST02145/EST00476DOC.

Industry Briefing
An industry briefing will be conducted on 16 June 2021 in Adelaide, both in person and through Microsoft Teams, details of time and exact location to be provided to registered Tenderers.
Building Code 2016
The Building Code 2016 applies. If the Building Code 2016 applies then by lodging a Tender, the Tenderer will become subject to the Building Code 2016.

WHS Accreditation Scheme
The WHS Accreditation Scheme pursuant to the Building and Construction Industry (Improving Productivity) Act 2016 (Cth) applies. Further information regarding the WHS Accreditation Scheme is provided in the Tender Documents.
Indigenous Procurement Policy

Joint Bids
The Commonwealth does offer the Tenderer an opportunity to lodge its Tender on a Joint Bid Basis. Further information regarding Joint Bids is provided in the Tender Documents.
PWC Act
The Works described in the Tender Documents are a "public work" and therefore subject to section 18 of the Public Works Committee Act 1969 (Cth).
