Remote Air Services Subsidy Scheme Air Operators (Regions 7 and 8)
The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications is seeking to engage aircraft operator(s) to provide air services to remote areas North of Tennant Creek (Region 7 & 7F) and South of Tennant Creek (Region 8), Northern Territory under the Remote Air Services Subsidy (RASS) Scheme.
A non-mandatory briefing will be held for potential Tenderers on:
18 January 2022 – 10.30am to 12.00pm AEST (via teleconference)
Briefings will cover all aspects of this Tender.
Potential Tenderers should register their intention to attend the industry briefing by emailing the names of representatives to the Project Manager at RASSTender@infrastructure.gov.au by 12pm, 14 January 2022.
Teleconference details will be provided by return email.

In addition, the successful Tenderer(s) will:
- be required to hold an Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) issued by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) authorising the Services;
- demonstrate compliance with all CASA requirements as appropriate; and
- demonstrate against the technical criteria that it can provide and sustain the tendered Services.
The Department is seeking to enter into agreements for two (2) years to commence from mid 2022, plus a further 12-month option period (if required).
