ATM 19/688 Potable Water Tanks

The AAD is seeking to engage a Supplier for the design and supply of ten potable and firewater storage tanks in support of its operations within Antarctica for the AAP under a Commonwealth Contracting Suite (CCS) contract for Goods. These water tanks will be of differing sizes to best suit the existing Tankhouse facilities at each station.The Services buildings at all three stations were constructed in the early to mid-1980s, for the specific purpose of establishing a “warm” building where liquid water could be stored to meet human consumption and fire-fighting needs.

The supply must be provided in accordance with the Statement of Requirement (SoR) in the ATM and subject to the terms and conditions set out in, or referred to, in ATM 19/688 Potable Water Tanks. Neither the lowest nor any ATM Response may necessarily be accepted. The AAD reserves the right to abandon or terminate any aspect of the ATM at any stage if it is not in the public interest to proceed. Late submissions will not be accepted and submissions forwarded by facsimile or email will not be accepted. Potential Suppliers should note that the Draft Contract is indicative of standard terms and conditions that will form the basis of a formal contract only and any contractual arrangement with a preferred Supplier will be subject to change. The AAD reserves the right to consider alternative terms and conditions of contract.
It is anticipated that the Contract will take effect from the date the last party signs.
Delivery must be completed by 1 September 2020.
