The Department of Parliamentary Services is looking to establish a Waste Management Services and Equipment Panel to service the waste needs of the Australian Parliament House Canberra.

Includes general waste, organics, secure waste and other Service Categories.

:

Mandatory Site Visit - Registration Form included in documents. Tenderers must REGISTER and ATTEND the site visit as per the times and dates specified in the RFT.

:

DPS will exclude a Tender from further consideration if at any time before a contract is executed DPS considers that the Tenderer does not meet any one or more of the following conditions for participation:

 

a.         The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender must be compliant with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth).

 

b.        There is currently no judicial decision against the tenderer (not including decisions under appeal) in relation to employee entitlements where the tenderer has not paid the claim.

 

c.         Where the tenderer has an Enterprise Agreement made under the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) on or after 1 January 2010, the agreement must include genuine dispute resolution procedures.

 

d.        The Tenderer must have attended the Mandatory Industry Briefing and Site Inspection.

 

e.        The tenderer must not have any adverse Court or Tribunal decision for a breach of workplace relations law, occupational health and safety law, or workers’ compensation law in the two (2) years preceding the date of release of the RFT.

 

f.          The tenderer must not have orders from any Court or Tribunal decisions the Tenderer has not fully complied with relating to a breach of workplace relations law, occupational health and safety law, or workers’ compensation law.

 

g.         The tenderer will not be excluded from tendering by the operation of clause 6.2 (Conflicts of Interest).

 

h.        Tenderer exists as a single legal entity at the Tender Closing Time

 

i.           Completion of all response documents in Schedule 2, in accordance with this RFT.

 

:

Services will be required by 31 December 2019 for Secure Waste.

Services will be required in January 2020 for General Waste and Recycling.

Other Services may be required shortly after Panel establishment.
