Provision of Transaction Banking Services
Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Darwin, Hobart
The Department requires a range of transactional banking services including, but not limited to, the provision of accounts and deposit facilities, online payment gateway, electronic payment distribution and settlement, revenue collection, prepaid card, BPay services, purchase card facilities and related account and transaction information services. The Department’s objectives of this tender include, but are not limited to, a strong and effective service relationship with the chosen bank; competitive fees and charges; innovative banking services that support the Agency’s current and future business processes and related banking services requirements; and achievement of the Agency’s business requirements, consistent with Australian Government policy.
Accordingly, the Department invites suitably qualified Banking Service providers to submit a tender for provision of transactional banking services.
The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender must not be named as not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth).
The tenderer confirms that in dealing with its employees and independent contractors, the tenderer has due regard to Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, comply with Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, including the obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth) and relevant work health and safety laws.
The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender are not insolvent, bankrupt, in liquidation, or under administration or receivership.
The anticipated timeframe for the contract is three years with three options to extend for a period of 12 months each.
