For the Provision of Optical Surveillance Services
The Agency has Technical Support Officers (TSO) throughout Australia who are responsible for identifying and referring cases for optical surveillance. The TSOs will be the liaison point between the Agency and the providers, in respect of each case, and will retain control of investigations that incorporate optical surveillance.
Cases will be referred to a providers by a TSO in accordance with the Agency’s internal Optical Surveillance Guidelines. These guidelines will be established and shared with the successful providers. All referred cases will be accompanied by detailed instructions on the specific optical surveillance required.
The term of the contract will be three (3) years with two (2) times one (1) year extenstion options.
The Conditions for Participation are:
The Agency will exclude a response from further consideration if the tenderer does not meet the following conditions for participation:
a. the tenderer either:
i. holds a Valid and Satisfactory Statement of Tax Record by the closing time; or
ii. has a receipt demonstrating that a Statement of Tax Record has been requested from the Australian Taxation Office by the closing time, and holds a Valid and Satisfactory Statement of Tax Record no later than 4 business days from the closing time; and
b. the tenderer holds a Valid and Satisfactory Statement of Tax Record for any first tier subcontractor that it proposes, as part of its response.
c. the tenderer must hold a current licence(s) as an Investigation or Private Enquiry Agent or equivalent granted by the relevant State or Territory authority for each State or Territory for which they are offering the Requirement. Tenders must provide a copy of the licence(s) as part of their Tender response.
