Request for Tender for Construction of a Smoke Hut Wastewater Upgrade at Melbourne Airport

The Airservices Australia Smoke Hut is located adjacent to the Learning Academy Hot Fire Training Ground. Run-off from the Smoke Hut building, motor vehicle pads and surrounding apron areas from fire training activities or rainfall is currently discharged to Australia Pacific Airports (Melbourne) Pty Ltd – (APAM) property west of the Smoke Hut via 2no.s triple interceptor traps and a stormwater drainage system. This in turn flows into Arundel Creek.
There is no sewer connection available at the Smoke Hut site.
Airservices aims to implement a system that captures runoff from training activities and rainfall events in 3no.s above ground tanks for regular pump out and removal by a licensed contractor for disposal at a licensed facility.
(a) The Tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the Tenderer’s Tender must not be named as not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth).
(b) The Tenderer and any subcontractors in the Tenderer’s Tender must not be named on the Consolidated List, being the list of persons and entities who are subject to targeted financial sanctions or travel bans under Australian sanction laws, as maintained by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade at http://dfat.gov.au/international-relations/security/sanctions/Pages/consolidated-list.aspx.
