Services of a Managing Contractor (MC) for Critical Infrastructure Upgrade and Asbestos Containing Materials Remediation; Senate Undercroft Base Build; Switchboard Upgrade; and House of Representatives Chamber and Heritage Galleries Conservation and Refurbishment.
The scope of services includes:
• Overall Contract Management of combined building and infrastructure works required to deliver the identified works packages;
• Undertaking all design and planning activities for the works packages, including costing and procurement of materials and/or sub-contractors, subject to OPH approval; and
• Related trades such as electrical and plumbing.
The delivery timeframe for these projects is 2021 - 2025. Additionally, if future funds become available during the life of these works the roof truss replacement in both Chambers will be included and delivered by the MC under the 2021- 2025 Capital Works Program. Other minor projects may also be included as required.
