ATM 19/466 Patient Transport Ventilators

The Australian Antarctic Division (AAD) maintains an ongoing aeromedical evacuation and transfer/retrieval capability for medical emergencies from the deep field to station and intercontinental transfer back to Australia.
Transport ventilators form a critical part of the AAD’s intensive care and medical transport capability.
The AAD Polar Medicine Unit requires the supply of 11 ventilators to replace older obsolescent units.

The supply must be provided in accordance with the Statement of Requirement (SoR) in the ATM and subject to the terms and conditions set out in, or referred to, in ATM 19/466 Patient Transport Ventilators. Neither the lowest nor any ATM Response may necessarily be accepted. The AAD reserves the right to abandon or terminate any aspect of the ATM at any stage if it is not in the public interest to proceed. Late submissions will not be accepted and submissions forwarded by facsimile or email will not be accepted. Potential Suppliers should note that the Draft Services Agreement is indicative of standard terms and conditions that will form the basis of a formal agreement only and any contractual arrangement with a preferred Supplier will be subject to change. The AAD reserves the right to consider alternative terms and conditions of contract.
Delivery of the initial units is desirable by October 2019. Delivery of all units must be complete prior to April 2020.
