Provision of System Integration Services for GovERP and its Consumers
Canberra
The Shared Services Transformation Initiative (SSTI) is part of the Government’s vision for a more productive and sustainable public service. The initiative will transform the way the public service operates by reforming and standardising traditional operating models.
This whole of government initiative is designed to establish common enabling tools and services that will increase the capacity of the APS to respond to the priorities of Government. The SSTI is stewarded by the Department of Finance (Finance).
Finance is working with the Commonwealth agencies to co-design a new GovERP initiative. The GovERP initiative comprises the design and development of a common whole of government platform, which will deliver a range of standardised corporate and financial services. The first tranche of the initiative will deliver a common enterprise resource management (ERP) platform for the agencies that already operate a SAP-based ERP.
The purpose of this EOI is to seek Responses from systems integrators (SIs) that have the capability, capacity and experience required to support the Shared Services Transformation Initiative (SSTI).
This EOI is stage 1 of a possible two stage procurement process. Finance may discontinue or amend this EOI process, or accept or reject a Response, at its absolute discretion. Following this EOI process, Finance may conduct a subsequent Request for Tender (RFT) stage. Finance does not intend to enter into a contract with any Respondent directly as a result of this EOI process.
Finance’s preference is to shortlist EOI Respondents who may be invited to respond to the RFT to provide the Services based on their demonstrated ability to deliver the requirements outlined in this EOI. A failure to respond to this EOI may result in a potential Respondent not being eligible or invited to participate in any subsequent RFT process.
