ABOUT ANSTO
Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) is Australia's national nuclear research and development organisation and the centre of Australia's nuclear expertise. ANSTO is responsible for delivering specialised advice, scientific services and products to government, industry, academia and other research organisations.
ANSTO works across areas such as health, the environment and the nuclear fuel cycle to find solutions to some of the biggest questions in science for the benefit of all Australians. To find these solutions ANSTO operates much of Australia's landmark infrastructure including one of the world's most modern research reactors, Open Pool Australian Lightwater (OPAL); a comprehensive suite of neutron beam instruments; the Australian Synchrotron; the National Research Cyclotron; and the Centre for Accelerator Science.
ANSTO also provides the Australian and international community with products and services to improve human health, support industry and protect the environment.
ANNUAL PROCUREMENT PLAN
In accordance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRS), ANSTO's Procurement aims to achieve best value for money by ensuring appropriate procurement methods are used to procure goods and services.
ANSTO’s Sourcing and Contract Management team will be conducting its procurement in a centralised environment where the marketplace will be given the opportunity to bid for larger value goods and services contracts with a market value in excess of A$400,000, that benefit both ANSTO and the business community.
All open approaches to the market for the above requirements will be advertised on Austender at www.tenders.gov.au. The APP is based on ANSTO’s best information at the time of publication; all planned procurements are subject to revision or cancellation.
