From 2017 to 2023, the National Museum of Australia will embark on a major program of gallery renewal, involving significant redevelopment of the existing permanent galleries and the creation of a new Discovery Centre. The Museum seeks world-leading creatives to work with us to deliver our vision for powerful, engaging and inspiring exhibitions and experiences.
Submissions are invited from interested parties including consortiums offering skills in a range of design, creative, arts, theatrical and digital fields.
Suppliers who submit an EOI in response to this Request may be shortlisted and may be invited to participate in separate limited tender processes for either or both Gallery Development Stage 1 - Life in Australia and Stage 2 - Discovery Centre (phase 1).
Suppliers should provide their details and responses to the evaluation criteria by lodging a response in the form of the Expression of Interest Response Template released with this request. The information provided by the Suppliers will form the basis of the Museum's evaluation of the EOI. The EOI, including all attachments and supporting material, must be written in English.
Requests for clarification must be submitted by email to the Contact Officer by 17:00hrs (5pm) local time in the ACT on 31 August 2017. The Museum will respond to all requests for clarification by 17:00hrs on 4 September 2017.
The Museum will exclude an EOI if the Museum considers that it is incomplete or clearly non-competitive.
An EOI submitted by a consortium may be rejected by the Museum if the Supplier:
a. does not propose to contract with the Museum as one separate legal entity
b. has not provided adequate details in respect of each member of the consortium or
c. has not specified one single point of contact for its consortium.
