Description:

On 25 February 2016 the Minister for Defence announced the Centre for Defence Industry Capability (CDIC) as a key initiative of the Defence Industry Policy Statement (DIPS). Its purpose is to help transform the Defence and industry relationship, and to support defence industry development, critical skilling and export initiatives. Defence Business Maturity Framework is proposed as one of the first Industry Development Projects which is the requirement for this RFT.

The scope of the procurement is to develop an open source Defence Business Maturity Framework and delivery methodology that enables industry to understand what it means to be defence ready, benchmark themselves against best practice and prioritise required activities to become ‘Defence Ready’ and progress along a defence business maturity continuum.

Conditions for Participation:

The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender must not be named as not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth).

The tenderer confirms that in dealing with its employees and independent contractors, the tenderer has due regard to Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, comply with Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, including the obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth) and relevant work health and safety laws.

The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender are not insolvent, bankrupt, in liquidation, or under administration or receivership.

Timeframe for Delivery:

The anticipated timeframe for the contract is 12 months with 3 options to extend the contract for a period of 12 months each.
