The Director of National Parks (DNP) is seeking applications from qualified professionals in the fields of:

  • Architecture,
  • Engineering and
  • Surveying

Applicants admitted to the MUL may be approached by one or more of the parks gardens or reserves to provide technical and advisory services to support the ongoing development and maintenance of DNP's sites and infrastructure.

Interested parties should read the Applicant Information document before completing an application.

Applications already lodged via email to DNPProcurement@environment.gov.au using an earlier version of the application form provided under reference DNP-BFMS-1112-004 do not need to be resubmitted. However, DNP may seek clarification in order to ensure already lodged applications meet the requirements of the updated MUL.

Complete the relevant MUL application form, including:

  • Provision of indicative pricing and priority service locations.
  • Completion of Applicant Declaration.
  • Evidence of membership of an Australian professional accreditation body or registration with the relevant state/territory regulatory body (relevant to the discipline).
  • For applications that prioritise delivery for sites outside the ACT or Darwin, demonstrated experience in provision of services in remote localities.
  • For applications that prioritise delivery for Booderee, Kakadu and Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Parks, demonstrated experience in provision of services in indigenous communities.

Submit evidence that the following insurances are held:

  • Public Liability Insurance in the amount of not less than $20 million per occurrence;
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance in the amount of not less than $5 million per occurrence;
  • Workers' Compensation and Employer's Liability Insurance as required by law.

Submit a Work Health and Safety (WHS) Policy or WHS Management Plan that complies with the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 and Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011.

The MUL is anticipated to operate until 2016 with revision on an annual basis and services may be sought at any time over this period. 

Individual scopes of work will detail the timing for delivery.
