This is a pre-release notice of an upcoming Defence tender activity to be conducted as a two-stage procurement. Following the Request for Proposal (RFP) process the Commonwealth intends to conduct a Request for Tender inviting submissions from shortlisted respondents of the RFP to procure the requirement described in a Statement of Requirement.

Description:

The intended release, by the Fuel Services Branch, of the RFP for the commercialisation of the Defence Fuel Installation at HMAS Cairns has been rescheduled to occur in July 2018. The objective of this procurement is to offer the HMAS Cairns Defence Fuel Installation infrastructure for use to Industry, inclusive of operation and maintenance responsibilities, for a period not exceeding 12 years (inclusive of Defence options) from June 2019.
