Veterans' Home Care Service Providers 2017
Veterans’ Home Care (VHC) is a Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) program that provides home support services to entitled persons with low care needs who require some extra help to remain living at home and in the community.
The services include:

Domestic Assistance;

Personal Care;
-
Respite Care (In-Home Respite and Emergency Short-Term Home Relief);

Safety-related Home and Garden Maintenance; and
-
the Coordinated Veterans’ Care Program’s Social Assistance service.

From 1 October 2017 to 30 November 2019, with an option to extend in one (1) yearly periods up to a maximum of three (3) extension periods, at DVA’s discretion.
