The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is conducting a feasibility study for the provision of wireless local area network capability in Parliament House to serve the needs of Parliamentarians. The intention is to also provide wireless capability to building occupants and visitors to the building such as delegates and invited guests.
DPS is seeking information on the following:
- the design of a secure and future-proof wireless network within Parliament House that meets the current and future requirements;
- the acquisition, installation and configuration of relevant hardware;
- systems management options to partially or fully manage all or sections of the wireless network; and
- advice and implementation of value adds as may be determined by DPS as appropriate.
