Civil Earth and Roadworks at CSIRO Boorowa
CSIRO through this RFT is seeking responses from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of the civil works.
CSIRO has purchased a 290ha farmland site in Boorowa NSW for its field research.
The current road network is minimal and in need for an upgrade and establishment of some sections. The current entrance to the site has been deemed as unsafe through an internal OH&S assessment, due to its location on a crest, around a blind corner, over double lines.
The OH&S assessment recommended relocating the entrance point to the northern side of the property off of Cunningar Road as this provides much greater visibility and therefore safety for persons entering and exiting the site.
NOTE: CSIRO will exclude Late Tenders from the Tender process, and will not admit them to evaluation. The Tender response is late (‘Late Tender’) if:
a.it is a Late Tender in accordance with the Tender Rules and/or AusTender Terms and Conditions or
b.it is incomplete as at the Tender Closing Time and Date (including where the Tender response includes electronic files that cannot be read or unencrypted).
