Defence Community Organisation (DCO) is a national organisation providing a broad range of individual and program related services to the Australian Defence Force (ADF) Community. DCO aims to ensure all ADF members and their families reach their potential and achieve their professional, personal and family goals within the context of the military.
In February 2012 DCO established the Canberra-based Defence Family Helpline (DFH) to provide a centralised intake service that has national and international reach to provide support services to all members and families of the ADF.
The intake service provides support including initial response to clients and Command and referral, where appropriate, to locally based DCO services and/or community based services. The DFH also has a number of international freecall numbers for members posted overseas and their families.
To support ADF capability, Defence seeks the professional services of a Contractor to provide appropriately skilled and qualified personnel to fill DFH contract positions equivalent to Australia Public Service Level 6 (APS6).

Transition arrangement June 2017.
Service delivery to commence 1 July 2017 for a three year term.
