Provision of Australian Longitudinal Study on Male Health

The successful Tenderer will be required to:

Perform the Study and provide mitigation strategies to ensure long term viability

Manage the study in its entirety including ethical clearances and participant consent

Liaise with key advocacy groups

Establish appropriate governance
-
Manage cohort retention/replacement
-
Plan for additional data collection waves
The successful Tenderer must ensure that the Study complements other Australian health-based longitudinal studies and health surveys
The Department’s standard requirements are located within Part 2, Clause 11.

March - July 2017 – Commencement and finalisation of the Tender process and contracting of the successful Tenderer.

2017 - 2018 – Successful Tenderer appoints staff, establishes infrastructure including partnerships with research bodies, engagement of relevant stakeholder groups and cohorts and piloting of instruments begins. Data linkage and analysis of previous waves.

2018 - 2019 – Pilot testing complete, instruments finalised and data collection wave undertaken. Data linkage and analysis of previous waves.

2020 – Data cleaning and analysis of Wave 3. Data linkage and analysis of all waves.
