The Commonwealth has an ongoing requirement to provide Information Technology Programming Training courses to staff of ASD. ASD’s communications environment is changing dramatically and with these changes a heavy reliance on programming knowledge and skills is required. The ASD Academy does not have the resources to meet this demand so will contract programming courses to ensure the delivery of high quality programming training from entry level to advanced level.
The Contractor shall provide evidence of current certification as a Registered Training Organisation under the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2011 as exercised by the Australian Skills Quality Authority, or Recognised Prior Experience e.g. Equivalent qualifications, references and/or testimonials.
Further, all personnel must have a minimum of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent), be fully skilled in providing an adult learning course and be trained and/or qualified within the Information Technology Programming discipline.
The tenderer is also to comply with the Commonwealth security clearance processes as detailed in Part 2:4, 2:20 and 2:60 of the Defence Security Manual, including holding or obtaining the level of security clearance and accreditations required by the Commonwealth.
The initial term of the deed will be three years from deed commencement, with two one year options available at the Commonwealth's discretion.
