The Department of Education and Training (DET) and the Department of Jobs and Small Business (Jobs and Small Business) are seeking responses to this Request for Tender (RFT) for the:
(a) provision of the delivery of the Skills Checkpoint for Older Workers Program (Program) on behalf of DET from 1 September 2018 to 30 June 2022 to enable the Program to be accessed nationally in accordance with this RFT; and
(b) administration of the Skills and Training Incentive (Incentive) on behalf of Jobs and Small Business from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2020.

The Program will provide eligible Participants with advice and guidance on upskilling for a current job, transitioning into new roles within their current industry, company or organisation, and pathways to new careers, including options for relevant education and training. The Program complements other measures to support older Australians that are included in the More Choices for a Longer Life Package. The Program is directly linked to the Incentive that is being managed by the Australian Government Department of Jobs and Small Business. The Incentive will provide Participants with up to $2,000 to fund suitable training (accredited or non accredited) that must be matched by either the Participant or their Employer. Providers will be responsible for administering the Incentive in consultation with the Australian Government Department of Jobs and Small Business.
